Outokumpu may revive its plan to invest INR 300 crore in India as the commerce ministry has decided not to levy anti-dumping duties on imports of certain products of the alloy steel. Outokumpu had last year abandoned plans to set up a service centre in Maharashtra with an estimated annual capacity of 50,000tn and at an investment of around INR 300 crore, after the commerce ministry initiated investigations into dumping of stainless steel items and provisionally imposed anti-dumping duty on certain stainless steel products for a period of six months.
