Conference purpose is to establish a communication and trading platform for global casting purchasers and Chinese
foundry suppliers.
Seminar style: opportunities are provided for the buyers to make purchasing explanations, and the suppliers to hold
products promotion seminars.
Expected scale: 360 attendees including 100 buyers and 260 suppliers in the foundry industry
Attendees will be global buyers who are sourcing casting products and all casting suppliers who have their own
factories in the Chinese mainland.
Foundry Market
China boasts the largest number of foundry enterprises in the world, with the total in excess of 26,000 companies.
China’s annual output contributes up 23% of the world total and plays a very important role in the casting chain
as the biggest casting production country.
With the increase in the global economy, international foundry purchasing activities are on the rise. “Made in
China” is being widely accepted in the world market because of its superior quality. This will allow us to seize
this unique opportunity and allow Chinese foundry enterprises understand the overseas buyers’ goals and
requirements.
Last review
The FSC 2008 held at the Shanghai Mart from March 21 to 22, 2008, attracted over 90 buyers from America, Germany,
Britain, France, Italy, Spain, Czech, Australia, India, Pakistan, Brazil and Japan. The representatives from top
500 enterprises around the world including ITT, Sandvik, ThyssenKrupp, Schaeffler, and Bombardier made purchase
presentations on their sourcing requirements, preferred casting materials, preferred manufacturing techniques, and
delivery times.
Over 160 suppliers were represented at the conference. All the suppliers have their own factories on the Chinese
mainland. Meanwhile, most of them have passed one or more of the international quality certifications standards,
including Weichai Power Co., Ltd., YTO Casting & Forging Co., Ltd., Hebei Hua’an, Dawang Jintai, Fenghua Hongda,
